Standalone players are significantly more expensive than PlayStations (figure that one out). But I'll also play a game on it now and then I'm sure. I did go with the cheapest model that lacks all the card reader ports and the PS2 backwards compatibility, just to prove to no one in particular that I wasn't entirely angling for a new console. We've tried it a few times because we had coupons, and it tastes fine. Not overly sweet or anything. It's worth a try. Woh, you got a PS3?
