I had the same glasses experience going with Jennifer. I went in without glasses (though with some vague feeling that my vision wasn't quite as crisp as when I was 10) and came out at 20/70 and some glasses ordered.

Jennifer and I have really enjoyed Rock Band so far; I liked our 4 person group when friends came to visit [Collectible Fuzz, also mostly an in joke], but am enjoying playing on just a pair of guitars. Side note: when the local stores sold out of spare rock band guitars for the 360, she impulse bought Guitar Hero for the PS2 and raided it for its guitar. It works perfectly well with the 360's rockband.

A great win for the Sharks tonight. Tied for first place. The action was great from Section 110, Row 8, Seat 10. First live NHL game, and a good one to watch. Thornton with three assists and Nabokov great in the goal.

Oh, by the way, the Tele would be a marvelous choice. Lots of cool music is made with Telecasters; the first thing that comes to mind is that the Edge uses a Tele on several amazing songs, including "Sunday Bloody Sunday" and "Vertigo".

I don't think it's too much to worry about, looking like a nerd. It works out okay when that's what you really are. You can just say you're keeping it real.
