They were called Jets. Sugar-frosted Kix basically. Probably tasted closest (but not real close) to Alpha-bits (do they
still make those?). Yahoo had some old-time TV commercials and here’s one for Jets.

I do not actually remember the commercial but I really liked Jets. I think they quit making them before I even was in
high school.
